Chef Kyle Blatchley

Director of Culinary Operations - NKI

Chef Kyle brings a wealth of experience and culinary expertise as Director of Culinary Operations. A Unites States Navy veteran, Chef Kyle honed his leadership skills and discipline during his service, which laid the foundation for his successful culinary career. Following his military service, Chef Kyle’s career has since spanned diverse roles, including Catering Chef, Executive Sous Chef, Executive Chef, and Director of Culinary Operations for Noo-Kayet Investment’s. These positions have equipped him with extensive experience in both high-volume production and refined dining environments. Raised in Florida’s Tampa Bay area, after Joining the United States Navy Chef Kyle has been stationed throughout the Pacific Northwest. For the past 15 years, Chef Blatchley has called Washington home, where he has cultivated strong ties to the local food community.

A proud U.S. Navy veteran, Josh advanced his skills in discipline, organization, and teamwork during his military service. Following his time in the Navy, he built a strong background in the culinary industry, serving as both a Kitchen Manager and Chef. Since relocating to Kitsap County, Washington in 2016, Josh has been actively involved in the local food community. As Operations Manager, Josh oversees the company's meat and seafood processing facility, ensuring efficient production, quality control, and customer satisfaction. Josh is particularly inspired by the opportunity to support the growth of the local tribal seafood brand, working to highlight the region's rich seafood heritage while strengthening connections with the surrounding community.

Teena Page has been a dedicated member of the Minder Meats team since June of 1992. Over the years, she has played an integral role in the company’s growth and evolution, witnessing and contributing to many of the changes that have shaped the business. As Key Accounts and Office Manager, Teena assists in overseeing many aspects of daily operations, supporting both administrative functions and customer relationships to ensure the company continues to provide the premium product with premier customer service. Born in Everett, Washington, Teena spent her childhood in the Puget Sound region, most notably in Port Townsend. She attended Olympic College, where she earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in 1994 and married her college sweetheart.

Sam Swanson is a seasoned procurement specialist with more than three decades of experience in the seafood and commercial fishing industries. Originally from Port Ludlow, Washington, Sam has built a career rooted in the waters and maritime communities of the Pacific Northwest and Southeast Alaska. Sam has specialized in procuring premium meats and seafood throughout the industry, leveraging his extensive industry relationships and firsthand knowledge of fisheries to source high-quality products. As a U.S. Marine veteran with a lifetime spent on the water and deep connections across the fishing and seafood industries, Sam brings unmatched practical knowledge, trusted relationships, and a commitment to quality to his work in procurement today.

Max is a driven Sales and Marketing Specialist from Poulsbo, Washington, with a strong foundation in science and a passion for building meaningful connections with clients and partners. He earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from Central Washington University, where he developed strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills. Max brings a unique perspective on business development. His ability to analyze data, communicate effectively, and understand client needs allows him to create strategic marketing initiatives and foster lasting relationships. Outside of his professional work, Max maintains strong ties to the Pacific Northwest community and continues to pursue opportunities that combine his analytical mindset with his passion for collaboration and growth.

Dave Barney

Dave Barney is a seasoned Meat Cutter with a strong background in craftsmanship and team leadership. Born and raised in Wyoming, Dave developed an early appreciation for both creativity and discipline. He pursued his passion for the arts at Central Wyoming College and later at the University of Colorado, where he earned an Associate Degree in Fine Arts. In July 1987, Dave arrived in Bremerton while serving aboard the USS Nimitz, beginning a long-standing connection with the community. As Production Supervisor and Lead Meat Cutter, he brings years of experience, attention to detail, and a collaborative leadership style that helps ensure both product excellence and a strong team environment.
